Inside of Online Banking, you can set up one-time and reoccurring loan payments. You can even pay your loan by using our “External Transfers” feature and pulling money from an account you have at another financial institution. Alternately, you can stop in to any branch to make your loan payment.

Follow the instructions below for a step-by-step guide in setting up your loan payment.

Pay with an external account

Set up payments from your Widget Financial account

Step 1: Select “Make an Internal Transfer” under the Transfers & Payments section of the sidebar.

Step 2: Select the account with which you want to make your loan payment under step 1 of the transfer wizard titled “Where is the money coming from?”

Step 3: Select your loan under step 2 of the transfer wizard titled “Where is the money going?”

Step 4: Select a payment amount and choose repeating. The repeating details box will allow you to select the frequency and due date. Confirm Payment.

Setup reoccurring payment from an external account

Step 1: Select “External Account Transfer” under the Transfers & Payments section of the sidebar.

Step 2: To add an external account, click the button “Add External Account”.

Step 3: Enter the account details of your external account. Upon completion, the Credit Union will make two small deposits into your external account. This can take up to three days.

Step 4: Once the deposits have been made, return to the external transfer screen and click “Verify”.

Step 5: Enter the amount of the small deposits to verify your external account.

Step 6: Once verified, you can set up a reoccurring transfer. We recommend setting up your transfer 3-4 days prior to your loan payment to avoid late payments as the transfer is initiated on the date of the transfer and can take a few days to be received from your other financial institution.
