PENNVEST Homeowner Septic Program


Widget Financial is proud to announce that we have partnered with the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA) to provide access to the PENNVEST Homeowner Septic Program.

 

The Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority (PENNVEST) has teamed with PHFA and the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to offer this special funding program. Assistance is available to eligible homeowners who need to repair or replace their individual on-lot septic system OR to connect for the first time to a public sewer system.

Loan Terms:

  • Fixed Interest rate of 1.75% (APR estimated at 2.303%)

  • Terms up to 20 years (15 years for manufactured homes)

  • Maximum loan amount is $25,000

  • Payment Example: A loan of $25,000 for 20 years would be approximately $123.53 per month

  • Loan origination charges apply

  • Loans will be secured by a mortgage on the borrower’s home

  • Lien Position must be 1st or 2nd (3rd lien is permitted if 2nd lien was obtained to purchase the home)

 


Eligibility:

  • Borrowers must meet qualifications for ability to repay the loan

  • Borrowers must be Pennsylvania residents

  • Home must be your primary residence located in Pennsylvania

  • Septic repair or replacement is eligible unless a public wastewater collection and treatment system is either in place or will be constructed in the next five years

  • You must be a member for Widget Financial to process your loan

  • Additional underwriting and project criteria apply
